In 2006 Cyndy Borzumato Cobb was taking a fun kickboxing class with a few other women. The young teacher moved onto different employment and the class participants were desperate to continue. Cyndy drew the short straw and was urged to become certified so
the class could continue. Much sweat and laughter later she has received her Master’s in Exercise Science and leads very popular fitness classes.
She began instructing Cardio Kick and while working on her Master’s she developed Cyndy’s Boot Camp as a project assignment. She claims high energy and sense of humor as her keys to success.
Cardio Kick works on alignment with jabs, punches and kicks while raising heart rate just enough to release endorphins. Boot Camp includes resistance, strength and flexibility training with a dash of cardio. Cyndy is always looking for modifications and never has a
“one class fits all” approach. She is happy and able to work with first timers as well as seasoned athletes while realizing most of us are somewhere in the middle.
